A New Start

Hi and welcome to my new blog. I am starting all over. A new fresh start. I can't promise a post every day but I can once a week. ;) I am a stay at home mom to two beautiful children, Pumpkin is an 8 year old little boy and Peanut is a 5 year old little girl. No that is not their real names. ;) Trying to protect them. I am very lucky to have been blessed with them after struggling with PCOS. I am also very blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart. Big Daddy and I have been together since our Sophomore year of High School and have been married almost 11 wonderful years. 

As I said I am a stay at home mom and I dabble in this and that. I love to cook! I love to bake more specifically. Cupcakes are my "thing". I love to make Pink Lemonade Cupcakes and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes. I have recently started to learn how to can things and made some yummy jellies, canned peaches, salsa, and spaghetti sauce. I cook up a storm and make big messes in the kitchen. I am also a crafter. I love to make bows and sew and can usually figure it out without a pattern. I love the challenge of figuring something out. I can't wait to teach all of you some of the fun things I do. 

I love to help people so there will definitely be some of those stories here for you.  I volunteer at Peanut and Pumpkin's school and was very active at our previous church. We are currently looking for a new church home and a way to give to others. There are so many people in this world that are in need of a little helping hand, a smile, a hug, or just some compassion shown to them. I have had a lot of struggles lately with who I am and what is my purpose so this is a journey to try to figure those things out. I look forward to getting to know you all more as well as getting to know myself.
